Once an age in The Last Blade, a band of deities must perform their Sealing Rite on the weakening Gates of Hell. For in every age, demons from beyond the portal scheme to be reborn in the world of the living. In the mid-nineteenth century, Japan, they seek to halt the Gods' ritual altogether.
