ReMix: Seiken Densetsu 3 'Hostile But Cuddly'

Man, I had finished filling everything out and writing up this mix, and JUST as I clicked submit, I lost power due to a f*$^kin' storm. Damn this storm all to hell . . . . actually, nature's cool by me, but when it steals my electricity that's just going a little too far. But I digress. What I had written about this SD3 mix - our first submission from newcomer Cloud - was that it's appropriately named in that it has fast, slow, loud, and soft sections. Hence it's 'hostile' but also 'cuddly'. Not sure if that was the intention in naming, but it works for me. Piano-synth arpeggios, a square lead pattern, and an uptempo but not overly aggressive attitude characterize the intro, which then gains a nice breakbeat. There's some ambient noise that comes in during the track's loudest and most climactic portion that is quite cool, after which things slow down and end on a mellow note. I had more to say, but I forget now, dammit. Anyway, don't let my run-in with nature and resultant lack for better words stop you from grabbing this mix - it shows great maturity and mutli-facetedness and comes with a decisive recommendation.
