Jose's got a good sound goin' on. This time around, it's 2d old school shoot 'em up action, with stripped down techno that nevertheless doesn't fall into the "Fruityloops Presets" hole and remains fresh, with a nice syncopated TR-808 drum line, thick bass, and super-squelchy main melody synths (and a cool, long synth squirt at da end). I especially like the rhythmic vocal attack sound at 0'52" - this section in general adds just that extra bit of variety, with a nice ascending chord pattern, segueing into a pads and rock drum and twangy fake-sitar sound (like at the beginning of the Fugees' cover of "Killing me Softly"). Strong track, solidly built, good sounds - there's a bit of high-end hiss on the mix, unfortunately, but otherwise a stellar presentation, and unless you're listening on headphones, you might not even notice. Great stuff from a consistent newer mixer.
