Damn . . . you all will wish this ReMix were a lot longer when you hear it! AmIEvil sent this in - in addition to doing many great ReMixes on his own, he plays in a band, and while on stage they sometimes play videogame 'jingles' to entertain the audience. Well, this little 'jingle' kicks major ass, especially for being live. We're talking high-quality eletric guitar lead with grit, very dramatic drums, and nice backing synths in this ReMix of Red XIII's theme in the valley. Pound for pound, one of the best ReMixes on the site, considering its size - definitely grab it! Yeah.

Short...

But an amazing song none the less.

Excellent work!!!

I keep imagining ol Red in a more humanoid form sporing an Old West
outfit complete with 6 shooters and sheriff Badge walkin into town
when I hear this theme. Yes it's short, an A-B repeater is useful
for this. Good work.
- GrrDraxin on October 22, 2007
Short, and way too underdeveloped & uninterpretive, but the
guitar tone is really nice.

I agree. I have this track in the middle of a Cd of awesome OC FF
7-9 remixes and this one always makes my mind scream "awesome
awesome awesome" over and over and then it just ends. One of the
best songs I've found on this site.

awesome. oh so awesome
- linkspast on February 5, 2007
Wow, one of the best remixes on the site. One problem, and it seems
that many agree...too short!.
I can see the majestic Red XIII walking to this mix. Very good
work!

As a guitarist myself, I say that, in good old English, "Bloody
good show!" Awesome sounds coming out there. Me and another guirist
friend of mine transcribed this ourselves. Its a good mix to listen
to and play to :D

Wow. I was like whoa, when it just started all of a sudden, but
really, we should demand that AmIEvil submits an extended version
cuz I guess we are all itching to hear more after hearing this
uber-sweet guitar work (understatement, yeah)! The best of yours,
I've heard, AmIEvil!
- lady zelda on January 19, 2006

- linkspast on January 16, 2006
I most deffinately have to agree with bummerdude......I have been
known to hit repeat on winamp and listen to this song several times
before moving on to other songs. As usual, great work Amievil
- wolfdude359 on November 16, 2005
Why can´t this song be longer? WHY!? :banghead:
- Bummerdude on September 21, 2005
Loop it once and i think everyone will agree it is up there with
Chu Chu and some of the major orchestrals!
This is by far one of the coolest tunes i have ever found. I this
being used in a movie or somthing it just rocks so much I LOVE
IT!!!

This is one of the first remixes I heard on this site several years
ago. My best friend had gotten it off of Kazaa and thought it was
going to be Nanaki's theme in the upcoming remake of FF7. He didn't
realize it was fan-made. His screen name is even named after
Nanaki; needless to say, he almost had an annurism while
introducing me to it. It's only the quality I've come to expect
from this place.
I assume this was done live. That's something I didn't know. Live
remixes are always a pleasent sight. ;) There're certainly not
enough of them. And with the exception of gutzalpus's piano works
they all seem too short! This one especially. I hate to be
redundant but MAKE IT LONGER! TY~ *giggle*
