Word to my funky homegrown peeps on da west side! Oh bother . . no matter what I can't help sounding really damn white . . . anyway, you HAVE to check this short but innovative west-side rapstyle Punchout ReMix by ace Franz Keller, complete with a speak-and-spell voice saying 'TKO' - AWESOME! I could go on just about how awesome that one detail is, but the blaxploitation synth bassline, the miscellaneous percussive guitar samples, the triple-ring boxing 'start of round' bell - it's PHAT with a capital P. I consider it a required download, because it is a PERFECT genre example of someone fitting the tunes from a given song to given style immaculately. Now all we need is Bustah Rhymes or somebody to do a little Punchout Rap overtop :)
